Meet the dedicated administrators, creative contributors, photographers, filmmakers, and web professionals who help keep Rapier Wit running and bring its work to life.

Kirsten Gundlack Levinson

Operations

Kirsten (“the pen”) has worked with husband Daniel (“the sword”) Levinson since 2003, overseeing the administrative side of Rapier Wit. A former actor and ESL teacher turned writer, she has a BFA in acting from York University, a creative writing post-graduate certificate from The Humber School for Writers, a creative writing MFA from The University of Guelph-Humber, and a modest ray gun collection. Her novella Inheritance, co-winner of the Ken Klonsky Novella Competition, is available through publisher Quattro Books and major booksellers and would make a lovely gift for that special someone.

Tammy Everett is a certified Fight Director and Fight Instructor with Fight Directors Canada. A singer, actor, actor-combatant, and martial artist, she has performed across Canada, the USA, and Europe. Tammy has directed fight choreography for productions including Cabaret, Les Misérables, Don Giovanni, Bridges of Madison County, and August: Osage County, bringing a strong focus on safety, storytelling, and actor development.

Christopher Mott

Webmaster

Christopher began his stage combat training with Fight Directors Canada in 1998, while attending the University of Guelph. He began his life at Rapier Wit as a student circa 2004, then as an apprentice and finally as an instructor since 2009. His professional Fight Direction credits include work at Alumnae Theatre, Hart House, Canopy Theatre, and Urban Bard and extensively in shows for Toronto Fringe and in community theatre. He has also worked as a stunt coordinator, assistant coordinator and stunt & fight performer for television, web series and independent films. Christopher is a certified Instructor with Fight Directors Canada. www.christophermott.com
